Original Frodus bassist, Jim Cooper and Shelby Cinca get their Frodian revived surf/exotica side-project happening again this year and release a Christmas EP! You’ve never heard Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairy or Charlie Brown’s “Christmas Time” like this!!
The blurbo:
2010! Yes, it is, and 2010 is a year that the Travelers of Tyme have returned to Earth (or as they like to say, the “Oreth”) after 14 years of seeming inactivity. In celebration of this and the festive atmosphere of Christmas, the Supreme Adapters of Tyme themselves offer to the masses during this holiday season an equally festive release: “Christmas Tyme Is Here”, available for for the symbolic $2.50, representing the 25th of December, up to whatever you wish to give as a gift. The travellers worked in odd conditions amongst ornery gnomes and elves to filter these yuletide melodies through their all-seeing lens for you to enjoy during this special Tyme. This release will only be available until January 1st and then will disappear into the mists of Tyme until next holiday season. Everything from a scorched surfrendition of “Dance Of The Sugarplum Fairy”, a warm-hearted hot-cocoa-in-space version of the Charlie Brown classic, “Christmas Tyme is Here,” and closing with a musical memory as pleasant as cracking open your first 8-bit video game machine with “Most Wonderful Tyme”. Make Tyme stand still this holiday with “Christmas Tyme Is Here,” a Travelers of Tyme special release!
